Internal CCV Oil Catch Can Analysis

The internal CCV oil catch can is designed to intercept oil droplets and contaminants within the crankcase ventilation system, preventing them from entering the intake port. Key findings include:

Analyzing the first-generation CCV delete kit combination, we identified areas for targeted filtration optimization. The first-gen CCV delete kit's filter can trap 90% of oil molecules, with remaining molecules accumulating and overflowing over time, leading to minor oil leaks and bottom contamination.

CCV Delete Kit + CCV Internal Catch Can = Filters 95% of oil molecules

After multiple tests, we devised a new solution: the CCV Delete Kit + CCV Internal Catch Can combo. Through extensive filtering and compatibility tests, we found that this combination can filter 95% of oil molecules.

Why? The CCV delete kit itself features an internal filter, while the CCV internal catch can boasts a dual-layer filtration system, effectively separating water, gases, and liquids. This effectively addresses most issues. However, SPELAB aims for perfection.

Building upon the CCV delete kit and CCV internal catch can, SPELAB added an oil pot, further separating, filtering, and collecting excess liquid and gas to prevent bottom contamination. Testing revealed that this combo removes 100% of oil molecules, achieving cleanliness and optimal engine efficiency.

Moreover, adding an oil pot requires no additional drilling and poses no harm to the vehicle. We found an optimal position, as shown in the image below, to install a bracket for the oil pot, achieving perfect spatial control.

How to Properly Install SPELAB CCV Combo?

Refer to the instruction manual for installation. Pay attention to 3 points:

1.Assemble the CCV fittings and filter, catch can in sequence at the appropriate location in the CCV system.

2.When opting for the strongest version of the kit (i.e., with the oil pot), you'll receive three sets of parts, each of varying lengths, allowing users to freely choose additional component installation.
