Yes. The Mini Maxx V2 or EFILive AutoCal V3 tuner is required after deleting the EGR on the LMM. Without tuning, the ECM will flag fault codes, trigger limp mode, and eventually force a forced regen cycle that defeats the purpose of the delete.

The standalone EGR Valve Cooler Delete Kit ($79) removes only the EGR hardware — no tuning included. The All-in-One Kit bundles EGR delete, CCV reroute, and optionally a tuner for a full emissions-off build. Choose All-in-One if you're doing a complete delete in one step.
