Over time, the Coolant Reservoir Tank in your 6.7L Powerstroke engine can become a noticeable eyesore. The factory-installed plastic reservoir tends to weaken, cloud over, and become prone to cracks, which increases the likelihood of leaks and makes it harder to monitor coolant levels. The SPELAB Coolant Reservoir, made from high-quality 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, provides superior strength and durability thanks to TIG welding and extensive pressure testing. Unlike the stock plastic tanks that are constructed from two sealed pieces, the SPELAB design eliminates the risk of stress cracks and leaks. Additionally, the aluminum construction enhances heat dissipation, which improves the overall performance and lifespan of your cooling system.
Our SPELAB Coolant Reservoir is fully compatible with the factory cap, though we offer upgraded cap options for further customization. Had it installed on my ‘99 Camaro Z28. Sounds really nice at WOT, and the tone is very deep at idle. Was decently made, electric motor has held up nicely from water over the past few months. Wireless fob has better range than my cars keyfob lol. Assembly was straight forward, but there were more parts included than the instructions had said. Would buy again for another vehicle with a v8.
